“Nyayachya Pratikshेत” – A Powerful Film Based on Real Experience in the Fight Against Child Marriage

Child marriage continues to be a serious social issue across India, affecting the lives, education, health, and dignity of thousands of young girls. Despite legal frameworks, the practice persists due to poverty, social pressure, lack of awareness, and deep-rooted traditional norms.

This is not a fictional story. The film is based on real intervention cases handled by the organization during child marriage prevention work. Each scene reflects actual field situations where timely action, coordination, and community intervention helped save a child from being forced into early marriage.

The film portrays the emotional pressure faced by children and families, the social challenges involved in stopping child marriages, and the urgent reality of rescue situations. It clearly shows how deeply child marriage can disrupt a girl’s education, safety, and future.
